What is a ‘Feel Good’ Fitness Program?
A ‘feel good’ fitness program strives to help you achieve total mind/body wellness.  At Fresh Air Fitness we employ a three part approach that helps you to Strengthen, Nurture, and Live.

Strengthen Your Body
There are many ways to exercise and strengthen your body. When you become a Fresh Air Fitness personal training client, we:

  • Assess your current fitness level and experience
  • Address potential safety concerns
  • Determine your personality type
  • Outline your physical fitness goals
  • Discuss how to integrate a physical fitness program into your lifestyle

Once we have completed the above assessments we develop a physical fitness program that meets your unique goals, temperament and needs.  Then, periodically we adjust that program to stimulate your body to greater gains in strength, flexibility and cardio respiratory fitness. Your physical fitness program may include one or more of the following:

  • Weight lifting
  • One on one coaching
  • Yoga and Relaxation
  • Sculpting and Matt Work
  • Indoor or Outdoor Cardio Training
  • Small or Large Group Fitness Classes
  • Stretching, Flexibility and Balance 
  • Functional Training (Movements that mimic ‘real life’ situations)
  • Periodic Training
  • Circuit Training
  • High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)

Nurture Your Soul
Through personal training, yoga and relaxation, we strive to help every personal training client strengthen the connection between mind, body and soul.  We are careful to honor everyone’s personal space, lifestyle and belief systems. Therefore we practice this concept only in a manner that is comfortable, appropriate and consist with the individual client’s philosophy. Your mind/body wellness program may include:

  • Meditation and Relaxation
  • Visualization
  • Goal and Intention Setting
  • Inspirational Readings
  • Various types of Yoga, including, but not limited to: Kundalini Yoga, Saampoorna Yoga, Karma Yoga, Hatha Yoga, and Nada Yoga.
