Students often seek private yoga lessons to complement programs given to them by other wellness professionals. A student seeking weight loss may require private yoga lessons to develop a program that increases energy flow, builds muscles, and introduces meditations and other strategies designed to prevent ‘cheating’ on the diet.
Someone who is seeing a counselor for stress or anxiety* may choose to complement his/her counseling with private yoga lessons. These lessons may focus on restorative yoga postures, guided relaxation or meditation, and quieting the mind.
